Carbine Radius is the next generation of commercial door closers. Bringing together years of ingenuity and innovation, the Carbine Radius series includes four Cam Action models, four Rack & Pinion models, and five Transom models to choose from.
Available in a modern silver finish for all Cam Action and Rack & Pinion models and a sleek designed matte black finish for the Rack & Pinion range to complement the latest door trends in the market, the Carbine Radius series is constructed with a superior quality extruded anodised aluminium body for better performance, allowing the Carbine Radius to be cycle tested to a massive 500,000 openings with zero failures, according to the latest standards.
The Carbine concealed Transom Door Closers represent a powerhouse of strength. Offering an adjustable closing latch with adjustable power ratings of 2 to 4 on three models, and a rating of 5 on the top end models. The Carbine Transom Door Closers are available in hold open or non-hold open, have a maximum opening setting of up to 130 degrees, and a maximum door weight of up to 150kg, making them perfect for new installations or an easy retrofit solution as they also include all the required standard installation parts.
The Carbine Radius Cam Action and Rack & Pinion range are fire rated thanks to its new fire-resistant design making it ideal to be installed on commercial doors with a maximum weight of 120kgs.
With adjustable closing and latching speeds, adjustable back check with a thermo-constant valve which adjusts the delayed action, and standard and parallel arm fittings as well as a slide rail arm and hold open arm available as spares, the range allows for easy installation, featuring a non-handed design that is supplied with both wood and metal self-tapping screws, making the Carbine Radius perfect for use on single action, inward or outward aluminium and timber doors.
Rack & Pinion
The Carbine Radius Rack & Pinion series includes four models with adjustable closing, latching speeds, and back check.
They are all single-action closers with a transom mount on the push side and non-handed installation making them easy to install on inward or outward opening doors. The Carbine Radius Rack & Pinion door closers are supplied with everything you need for your next installation including standard and parallel arm fittings, and timber and self-drilling metal screws.
